How am I counting? – To repeat from the previous six years, this is hardly an exact science. Omnibuses and graphic novel collections of individual comics issues are never straightforwardly consistent in terms of the content. To keep things very simple though, this is what I will be doing (subject to change and only a guideline):
- Each novel in an omnibus or otherwise is counted separately.
- Each short story (*SS*) in an omnibus or otherwise, is counted for half only.
- Each novella (*NA*) in an omnibus or otherwise, is counted for half only.
- Each collected graphic novel (*GN*) collection will be of six issues each, by numbers. Special issues such as annuals and FCBD issues will be separate. Of course, this is a very gray area (Aquaman Volume 2 and Batman Volume 2 I am looking at you), so this rule is just a guideline.
- All audiobooks and audio dramas (*AD*), regardless of length, are counted separately.
- And each item that is reviewed will be marked as such (Rw).
We shall see at the end of the year!
