51-for-2013

In the second week of January, I posted my list of “50 Most Anticipated Releases For 2013” (link).  50 titles spanning everything science fiction to fantasy, space opera to urban fantasy, and beyond, across six different publishers. Now, that’s a lot of novels to read, and keep track of, which is why I’m creating this page. (EDIT: I was going through that link right now and apparently there are 51 books there, and not 50. Headdesk moment! Title change!)

This page is where I’ll be tracking my progress for this particular reading challenge.

The following book has been removed from the list as mentioned:

  • Seven Kings by John R. Fultz – I tried to read the first novel in this series, Seven Princes, and found it to be extremely dull in the first forty pages, so much so that I stopped then and there. In that spirit, I will no longer be reading Seven Kings.
  • The Wreck of The River of Stars by Michael Flynn – This appears to be a reprint of a 10-year old book. Despite my enthusiasm, will be crossing this off the list.
